Linda Fairburn
Linda Kay Fairburn,
president of Make Things Happen Limited,
is an organization development consultant,
facilitator and adult educator
who specializes in succession planning,
family business change,
strategy implementation,
work design,
process improvement,
team building and
interpersonal skills development
at all levels with NGOs,
public and private sector organizations
in the service and manufacturing industries.
Linda combines hands-on business experience, as founder and president of companies in the service and manufacturing sectors, with training in the behavioral sciences.
A Bachelor’s degree in education and art therapy from the University of Waterloo, Ontario (BIS), a Diploma in Biographical Counseling from Arscura School for the Healing Arts in Toronto, Ontario, Studies in adult education from St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia, and a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University in California allow her to help clients address a wide range of performance issues.

Linda teaches adult education in the Certificate in Adult Training and Development program at the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and is the co-author of Exit Right® — A Guided Tour of Succession Planning for Families-in-Business-Together; and of “The Whole System Transformation Conference” (Jossey-Bass, 2002).
Linda works with organizations in Canada, the US, India, China, and Nepal.
As a citizen of both Canada and the United States, Linda travels and works freely with clients on both sides of the border.
